Civil Projects            

PND is involved in a wide variety of general civil projects primarily throughout Alaska and the Pacific Northwest, but with a growing national and international clientele. These projects often entail innovative civil designs in difficult permafrost-dominated situations and require expertise in cold-region road and earthwork design.

Assignments routinely require evaluation of existing utilities and site layouts, environmental assessments and permitting, and preparation of contract documents and specifications. They commonly entail relocation of existing utilities, easement work, sewer and water main extensions, and road extensions.
