PND provided civil, structural, survey and geotechnical services for this complex as a subconsultant to Kumin Associates, Inc., which also developed the master plan for a 60-acre land parcel. The $12.4 million, 102,000-square-foot sports facility will include a football/track and field/speed-skating stadium, an 830-foot indoor walking/jogging track, regulation sized ice rink, an upper level exercise area above the ice rink, a 17,000-square-foot artificial turf area for indoor soccer and other multi-use activities, a soccer field, baseball/softball field, outdoor skating pond, trailhead facility, on-site cross-country ski and running trails, and related locker room, pro shop, toilet, administrative, parking and service areas for these uses. A 2,000-square-foot conference area is also provided, dividable into three smaller meeting rooms to accommodate a variety of gatherings.

This project will construct the sports complex building and the parking lots. The trailhead development is being addressed under separate contract, and the remaining site master plan elements will be developed as future projects.
