Mr. Kenley provided civil design for this fast-track, design-build project. The two-story building includes classrooms, offices and a complete shop totaling more than 20,000 square feet. The contract was awarded in April 2000 and had to be completed by November 2000; final design was approved in early June with groundbreaking in late June. Ordering and delivery of supplies, materials and equipment presented a myriad of challenges due to time constraints.
